Junior Art Director (In-House Agency, Hybrid)

Ball Horticultural Company is looking for a talented junior art director to join our full-service, in-house marketing communications agency.
As a junior art director, you will be responsible for assisting the senior art director in the development and execution of creative concepts for a variety of B2B brand projects, including print, web, events, video, and social media.
You will also be responsible for contributing to the brainstorming of ideas, creation of concepts, and the development of messaging to provide best-in-class sales tools for our clients (our partner businesses).
The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio that demonstrates a keen eye for detail, a passion for creativity, and a desire to Color the World with plants!Responsibilities and Duties:
Understand and interpret creative briefs to develop and present concepts with rationale and move them quickly into tangible, effective tools to support sales Generate fresh, original ideas that are on strategy, on brand, and on budget to demonstrate the gain for our customers Work collaboratively with account executives, copywriters, production artists and other members of the creative team to design catalogs, digital and print ads, event signs, retail POP, web graphics and other marketing tools, and meet deadlines Maintain design consistency and brand standards across mediums and platforms to ensure a consistent understanding of our products and brands in the marketplace Work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality to support a diverse style of clients Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously strive to improve skillset and grow professionally Understand the production process and be able to provide accurate print specifications for fast and efficient printing Assemble and archive digital Files using File structure and defined processes to be able to effectively retrieve and share work with your team and vendors Requirements Bachelor's degree in graphic design, advertising, or related field 2-4 years professional experience as a graphic designer, junior art director or similar role in an agency or corporate communications environment Innovative design skills to create new ways for the organization to be successful Proven experience with graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work Readily acts on challenges in a fast-paced environment Partners with others to get work done Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office software Proficient with current Mac platform and server-based network environment Working knowledge of content management systems a plus Knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
