Perform day-to-day marketing brand activities with minimal supervisionExecute new product introductions and line extension rollouts on a timely basisOversee the product development process both internally for Jel Sert and externally with Licensing partnersFulfill contractual obligations and field daily requests from Licensing partners on behalf of Jel SertCreate category and competitive analyses, using a variety of data sourcesProvide detailed forecasts on a regular basis with clear story on performance variance vs.
forecast, and to ensure licensor satisfactionDevelop fact-based marketing plans and sales presentationsPlan, coordinate and execute marketing initiatives related to Jel Sert licensed brands (consumer or trade promotions)Directly manage licensed brand tactical executions from an inbound and outbound licensing perspectiveManage timelines for new product and package development - working cross functionally including translating brand assets into compelling graphics via use of graphic designersOpportunistically take on project to learn brand management skills / CPG consumer marketing and media planning and execution approach and essentials to elevate opportunities for growthServe as liaison between Jel Sert and assigned licensorsAssist in identification of new product opportunities and platforms to grow assigned licensesResearch and recommend promotional strategies and tactics for key product linesQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEMust have a minimum of 7 years of marketing experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods).
Food or beverage environment is preferred.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field required.
MBA highly desirable.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESMust be able to demonstrate expertise in commercializing new products.
Must show proficiency in working with external contacts/resources.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills are required.
Must be experienced in all elements of the marketing mix and have a firm grasp of marketing principles.
Must possess excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication (written and oral) skills.
Must exhibit critical thinking and negotiation skills.
Must be proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites of up to 20%.

Balancing:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
