This position is responsible for meeting the territory goals and driving our pump and seal initiatives throughout the territory and region. The selected candidate will be responsible for securing orders from existing customers through interface with customers and internal company functions to achieve bookings and sales goals. The candidate will be responsible for continued improvement in sales coverage and effectiveness, developing key accounts within the pipeline market, and providing market analysis and action plans. The incumbent will also have responsibility to timely submit business reports and territory forecasts. Accountabilities Sales Engineer to cover and grow bookings primarily in aftermarket business designated pipeline accounts within the Midwest area. The ideal candidate will live within 2 hours of the West Chicago Quick Response Center. Some overnight travel required. Territory is a combination of Pump and Seal responsibility on a direct and possibly distributor account basis. API industry with an emphasis on pipeline experience preferred. Position reports to NA Pipeline District. Position Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred or has a high school diploma with a machinist background with pumps/rotating equipment is required 4 - 5 years of experience in Rotating Equipment Sales or similar experience required. Experience with aftermarket sales is highly preferred Hands-on experience with pumps/rotating equipment is required A self-moEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
