Mixer, Chemical Products

Position Summary

Week-end Shift (Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 12 Hours each) Loading different dry and wet products together, for subsequent mixing.


10% of the time you will: Work with our chemist to load exact amounts of chemicals together

80% of the time you will: Be responsible for running various types of mixing equipment

10% of the time you will: Move raw materials and finished products around our plant via a forklift.


  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid Drivers License required to qualify for fork lift license. (We will train you on forklift.)
  • 1 year related experience and/or training.
  • 3 years related working experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Employees should be able to lift up to 100 lbs
  • Exhibit regular reliable punctual attendance due to limited staffing resources
  • Math: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Language: Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English at a minimum of 6th grade level
  • Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables

Work Status and Location

This full-time, non-exempt position is located in West Chicago, IL.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
