Social Media & Digital Designer

SUMMARY


The Jel Sert Marketing Team is looking for a creative, driven, and tech-savvy in-house digital designer to support our daily content needs. In this role, you?ll be working closely with the marketing team to design visually stunning and branded graphics for our social media, email, landing pages, video, events, and various other content initiatives.


The ideal candidate will be an active social media user with a deep understanding of the modern value of social media, who can bring creative social media-minded ideas and concepts to the team and clients. We are looking for a creative thinker and storyteller who can conceptualize and design new content for our brands to stand out.


Our existing brand guidelines, templates, and campaign examples will serve as the starting point for your designs - with the long-term goal being that you contribute to the creation of new styles and assets over time. In your interview, please be prepared with a portfolio showcasing your work and creative skills, as this will be a major factor in our decision-making process.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Use business goals and brand strategy to design digital assets for web, social, and email to drive brand awareness, consumer engagement and purchase conversion.

  • Given a creative brief, create compelling layouts through excellent use of typography, color, and photography that reflects the brand and speak to our target audience.

  • Create high-quality, engaging digital content in a variety of formats ? video, photo, GIFs, stop motion, etc? across multiple social media platforms that are in harmony with our overall brand + aesthetic.

  • Research, plan and produce original video and photography content.

  • Work efficiently under fast-paced deadlines, proactively getting briefs with feedback to be clear on the direction and minimize rounds of revisions.

  • Enhance and uphold brand standards.

  • Assist in the planning and creative process of new content development.

  • Stay up to date on the latest pop culture, social media and digital marketing trends and apply them to our portfolio of brands.

  • Format various presentation decks, reports and one-pagers for sales, executives, and special events.

  • Update existing marketing materials & templates consistently.



QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.

  • 3 years of graphic design experience required.

  • Creation of digital assets a plus.

  • 1 year B2C digital marketing experience strongly preferred.

  • Concept-driven designer with strong working knowledge of social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.

  • Must be Social Media Savvy. You are active on every platform and can clearly explain how they differ from each other. You view the world through your Stories and your friends are jealous of your Grid.

  • Proficient in Mac OS, Adobe CC PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects or Premiere Pro

  • Skilled in photography a plus.

  • Video editing skills required.

  • Proficient in HTML and WordPress

  • Assist with various marketing tasks such as organizing printed collateral in the office and digital content online

  • Optimize and maintain website content with responsive or mobile-friendly images.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
